Former New York Jets linebacker Calvin Johnson is one of the hottest NFL players right now.
He’s also a big-time designer, and according to his website, he has been a designer for over a decade.
Now, Johnson is bringing his brand to the NFL with a new line of men’s apparel designed specifically for NFL players.
According to Johnson, the NFL is one reason why he chose to pursue the business.
“There is a real demand in the industry,” Johnson said in a statement.
“We have the ability to help players reach their potential, to make the most of their talent and to help the game continue to grow.
I’m looking forward to working with NFL players and the league to create the most dynamic apparel for the players and fans of the game.

The NFL has a few great designs on its roster of apparel, including the “Crowns of Excellence” and the “Panthers of the Super Bowl,” but Johnson is targeting his new line as his most popular.
The company has a long history of being able to offer high-quality designs for NFL fans, but Johnson says that’s about to change.
“I feel like we’re in a moment where there’s a lot of new, exciting ideas coming out that have really taken over the market,” he said.
“There’s something really great that’s happening in the NFL.
I feel like that’s the future.
I want to make sure that when I’m designing for players, I’m really bringing a lot to the table.”
Johnson is not the only designer taking advantage of this new trend.
The NBA is already in on the action with its new line, with Michael Jordan and Dwyane Wade both sporting new styles in the past few months.
And while the NFL isn’t the only industry that’s going after new design ideas, Johnson says it’s a big part of the reason why.
“It’s about bringing design to the players, the fans, the brands,” he explained.
“You’re getting an incredible amount of talent into this industry.
They want the best design for them, the best material for them.
It’s all about making the best product for them and doing the best job for them.”
As the NFL continues to evolve, so will the game, and the brands that help to sell them.
The new line will be available in men’s and women’s, but the company is also looking to cater to men’s casual wear, and Johnson is hoping to help make it accessible to everyone.
“We want to help guys and girls grow up with style, and that’s why we’ve been working with Nike to make it available to casuals and everyone,” Johnson added.
“It’s going to be great to bring that design to everyone.”
